Here's an overview of my first project...COASTERS! The general design/idea was taken from Amy Karol's Bend-The-Rules Sewing book. You'll have to ignore the fact that one of the coasters (my first one) is a bit crooked...I was in a bit of a hurry just trying to get ONE of them done and decided not to use pins - bad move! I could have used my seam-ripper and redone the whole thing, but I really just wanted to get them all done. If it bothers me too much after the next couple days, I'll redo it. Here are the pictures documenting the process :)

Those are so great! You can stitch the words on them like that too? I love them Amber - good job! I'm way impressed. :-)
